The youngest of three I was born in the Netherlands. I grew up in the Hague from which turmoil we fled on summer holidays by taking hikes in the nature of Bohemia in the Czech Republic. It was on those hikes and because of the love my parents had for nature I also grew to love it.
After finishing high school I took a sabbatical to Montréal, Canada where I experienced a new culture, learned French and met people from all over the world. I had a wonderful time and I found travelling to be a new passion of mine.
After my return, I chose to study at the Academy of Art since I’ve always had a love for drawing and portraying the world around me.
